ABC de la Vie in Delmas: An ABC of and for life

ABC de la Vie rents a building in Delmas, an older part of the city. The schools nearby are expensive and will not take children who cannot pay, or who are too old for their class because they never had a chance before. ABC does take them.

Guerline Recule Valcin helped found the school in 2011 as a young woman and has been its head teacher since 2020. On Saturdays there is the Human Values Club, for pupils and children from the neighbourhood. This year the first children’s books in French and Creole arrived: the start of a school library.
